When you enter the Sugar Drop Candy Shop located at OdySea in the Desert, you might think you stumbled into a Willy Wonka-esque wonderland of sweets. Packed wall-to-wall with nearly every type of candy, Sugar Drop Candy Shop boasts the best in current and vintage style confections. If it is a candy you love, most likely you’ll find your favorite kind here.

Guests are greeted at the door by a massive colorful Adirondack chair, which urges visitors to sit for a kid-themed photo. Once you take your photo, it’s time to discover the candy. Multiple barrels of salt water taffy of every flavor are available by the piece or scoopful.

A sea of waste-high self-serve barrels include wrapped candies available by the piece or the handful. Dum Dum lollipops, Bit-O-Honey, mini Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, jelly-filled fruit hard candies, chocolate coins, Charleston Chews, Lemonheads and so much more are practically begging to jump in your candy loot bag.

A wall of Jelly Belly jellybeans in self-serve dispenser chutes will give you a chance to grab as many jellybeans as you want. A variety of colorful M&M’s are also available and make a delicious and fun party favor or table decoration.

Don’t miss the cotton candy packaged in cute and convenient tubs. Flavors include coffee, peach, cherry vanilla, atomic fire and pineapple mango.

Right next to the wall of Pez are two round carousels that include just about every kind of gummy shark, bear, spider, turtle, penguin and pig. Other selections include peach and apple rings, plus many more sugar-coated gummies of every shape, flavor and size. If that’s not enough gummy candy madness for you, there is also a 3-foot-long gummy snake large enough to wear around your neck.

Arizona-themed candy earns a place on the Sugar Drop shelves, too. Prickly pear cactus candy, margarita fudge, pomegranate candy and margarita jelly morsels are all desert-related sweets perfect to take home and enjoy or give as a gift. If you have a sense of foodie humor, you might even consider chocolate covered candies such as rattlesnake eggs, gecko poop or javalina droppings.

Designed for a slightly more adult palate, Cold Brew-brand chocolate coffee candies include varieties like jet black and sea salt caramel latte. Chocolate-covered pretzel sticks, fudge, massive lollipops and dipped cookies are also some additional treats to buy and take home, if they make it that far before being eaten!

Candy lovers of years past might remember classic treats such as Beemans, Black Jack and Clove chewing gums. You can still pick up those throwback flavors and float back in time as you chew away on the vintage flavored gum. Drug store-style candy sticks in flavors like butterscotch, licorice and wild cherry also fall under the vintage umbrella.

A fun variety of vintage style bottled soda is available in flavors such as licorice and peanut butter. If you’re truly brave, try the dill pickle soda.

Other fun items at Sugar Drop Candy Shop include stuffed plush animals, personalized mugs, honey straws, branded T-shirts, gift tins, oversized candy bars and candy jewelry.
