It seems every city contains an Orpheum Theatre and ours sits in downtown Phoenix near the Phoenix Convention Center. Built in 1929, the classic 1,364-seat space hosts major bands, off-Broadway shows, plays, classical concerts and occasionally TV shows like “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
The gorgeous interior is well worth the price of admission, but if that’s all you want to see you can take a guided tour for free every other Tuesday at noon and 1 p.m. See the next tour date on the Phoenix Convention Center event page.
Parking downtown can be a hassle, but the theatre sits just off the CityScape light rail stop.
