Yucca Library Picture
Yucca Library is located on 15th Avenue, south of Montebello Avenue and south of the Phoenix Spectrum Mall. The library is 10,000 square feet in size and is maintained by a staff of 11 full time employees. Yucca Library features a “Best Picks” collection with popular movies and bestselling books, Teen Street – a special “teen only” area, WiFi and Internet-accessible computers.
The library was originally built in March of 1969 and was remodeled in 2001. There are over 64,ooo items in the library as well as 14 internet connected computers.
The library’s collection includes Spanish-language and English-as-a-Second-Language materials, as well as a variety of newspapers and magazines, books, DVDs and CDs to meet community members’ educational and recreational needs.
