5. Enter barbecue heaven

An American in Paris

Tuesday, April 18 to Sunday, April 23
Despite the lack of Gene Kelly, this new Broadway musical has garnered rave reviews and awards, including four Tony Awards. Like the 1951 movies from which it gets its name, it tells the experiences of an American soldier who decides to stay in Paris after the war. The score uses music from George and Ira Gershwin.
