The Tempe Farmers Market is held daily indoors at 805 S. Farmer Ave in Tempe. The building is located on the corner of Farmer and University. The market carries fresh local fruits and vegetables, breads, sauces, beef, chicken, humus, pesto, grilled items, hormone free meats, vegetarian items, honey, cheese and gluten free items.
The Tempe Farmers Market is not a traditional farmers market where mulitple vendors gather to sell their product. The best way to describe it is a small grocery store, possibly 1500a square feet in size. While it is not a traditional farmers market per se they do have a fairly large supply of local produce that they sell on a daily basis. It is also one of the few places in Phoenix where you can buy raw milk that is unprocessed.
