Their history is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that these two are best friends. Stormy (female) and Bandit (male) are six-year-old Boxer mixes who ended up at AHS over a month ago when their owner encountered a hardship. Together for the last six years, we cannot bear to split these two apart. Fortunately, through AHS’ Buddy System we won’t have to! The Buddy System keeps best friends together for an adoption fee of just one! Since they are Young at Heart (over the age of 5), their adoption fee is just $35 for both of them. They have been calling the shelter home since September 13th and although they have their classical music in the afternoons and Kongs filled with treats, these sweethearts are longing for a home to call their own.
This October is National-Adopt-a-Shelter-Dog month so please bring down the whole family, human and canine, for a meet and greet to see if these two best buddies are the perfect match for your family. They are available at AHS’ Campus for Compassion – 1521 W. Dobbins Rd. in Phoenix. For more information, please call adoptions at 602.977.7586 x 1045 and ask about Stormy (A413804) and Bandit (A413803).
Troy, please feel free to contact me with any questions – thank you!
