Welcome to Phoenix.org’s government page. There are many separate government bodies located in the Valley of the Sun. This is due to the fact that Phoenix is the capital of Arizona as well as there being multiple different cities with separate governments located valleywide.
Each of the cities in the Valley of the Sun have their own elected city council as well as Mayors and Managers. If you have an issue with your local city it is necessary that you contact your local city council.
