2017 Chili Bourbon Festival

By Tuesday Mahrle

Featured event: 2017 Chili Bourbon Festival

This unique festival brings the spice through music, bourbon and chili, giving patrons the chance to sample an array of all three over the two-day celebration. Adulting never felt or tasted better.

This inaugural event will feature six chili tastings and 15 bourbons, including American traditional bourbons, as well as eclectic selections, such as Maker’s 46, Adirondack and Larceny Bourbon. In addition, the festival will offer beer and craft cocktails.

Country music stars Colt Ford and Waterloo Revival take the main stage Saturday, Dec. 16, with local musicians on stage both days of the festival.

Chili choices include traditional cornbread chili, southwestern chicken chili, vegan magic chili and cilantro green pork chili.
