Hunt’s Tomb
Hunt’s Tomb, located within Papago Park, is the tomb of the late George W. P. Hunt (1859-1934), the first governor of Arizona. He served the states record of seven terms. His tomb is a small white pyramid behind a fence at the top of a hill.
Hunt’s Tomb can be seen from anywhere in Papago Park. The view from the site offers a panoramic view of the eastern part of the metro area.
