Obviously there is a problem with people paying that much more for jobs that pay so much less. It is like paying to be the hall monitor at elementary school, if you are willing to pay to be a 5th grade hall monitor then you are showing your true desire is to have power over others.

All political positions should be limited in running costs to what the position pays per year or per two years. That way the media and other groups could not influence the minds of individuals and voters by throwing money at them. If Frank and Jack were running and they both had 200,000 to spend then by the time the election came we would have a good knowledge of what they both believe. If Frank has 100,000 to run and Jack has 2,000,000 then you can guarantee that we will never hear from Frank and Jack will be elected regardless of whether he was the best or not.

We have got to do something about getting the abnormal money out of politics.
