Rocks and Mineral
Description: Get the hard facts on rocks and minerals and where to find them in the Wickenburg area. Gem and Mineral hobbyist Dale Keiser will present the basics of identifying minerals common to the Vulture, Bradshaw and Weaver Mountain Ranges and lead an easy hike on preserve property to find examples. Bring rock samples for help with identification. Reservation required: 928-684-2772 or bmccollum@tnc.org. $5 fee (TNC Members $3) includes all day trail access.
Children 12 and under, volunteers and Friends of Hassayampa members free.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
