Event Name: I Am AZ Music:MIM Celebrates 100 Years of Arizona Music

Description: Come to MIM and celebrate Arizona’s 100th birthday with musical performances and live painting by local artists, educational talks given by MIM curator, Cullen Strawn, and the opening of MIM’s centennial exhibition located in the United States/Canada Gallery. The new exhibition showcases Arizona musicians and musical-instrument makers of the last century, along with instruments from MIM’s collection. The event also includes special merchandise for sale in the Museum Store and a special menu created with ingredients from Arizona farms and ranches to be offered at the MIM Café.
