Desert Sage Library
Desert Sage Library is located on Encanto Boulevard west of 75th Avenue and just south of the Desert Sky Mall. The building itself is 13,400 feet and contains over 82,000 items. There is a staff of about 12 employees and in addition to books, movies, CD’s and magazines there are also 17 computers that are connected to the internet.
The library features a Best Picks collection with popular new titles, a First Five Years/Los Primeros Cinco Años interactive learning space for families with young children, Teenzville – a special “teen only” area, WiFi and Internet-accessible public computers. The library also offers special collections of large print and Spanish-language materials.
