Yoga in the Rainforest

Butterfly Wonderland invites guests to experience Yoga in the Rainforest. This hour-long class will guide attendees through a series of yoga poses to help build strength and gain flexibility. Modifications and adjustments will be offered so any level of student will feel supported. Breathing and meditation techniques throughout the class will allow students to find peace and steadiness within their personal practice.

Dita Von Teese and The Copper Coupe Burlesque

“Art of the Teese” will mesmerize with a re-staged performance of “Lazy” from Von Teese’s residency at Crazy Horse Paris this past year and a revitalization of the Cowgirl Act including her sexy new male “Vontourage.”

The two performers take requests—and can play them all, ranging from Taylor Swift to Sinatra to The Beatles. Between sets, audience members can step outside and enjoy the evening air or grab a drink or Sonoran dog from the garden’s restaurant.

With a love of sharks, Oro Valley based underwater photographer Samantha Schwann’s work has brought her face to face with 12 foot tiger sharks, schooling hammerheads and the beefy Galapagos shark, all without a cage, in a mission to highlight the importance of their conservation. Despite living in the desert, her passion for the underwater world has led her to log over 7,000 dives around the world, diving with 15 species of shark and counting.
