As probably the largest dog park in the area, Chaparral Park offers owners and pets plenty of options. There are benches for people, and water fountains for both dogs and owners. An agility/obstacle course is available for dog play or training.

Chaparral Dog Park also boasts plenty of shade. The park has large mature trees that provide tons of shade to stay out of the Arizona sun.

The large run is for big/aggressive dogs, and there’s a smaller one for small/passive dogs. The park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. with complete closure for maintenance on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. It is also closed for frost or wet conditions.
