Ales on Rails

September 20-October 31

The cooling temperatures inspire the riparian foliage to mellow, filling the Verde Canyon with gold, amber and scarlet. The ripened bronzing of the wilderness is echoed by rich Arizona craft beers served during Verde Canyon Railroad’s ever-popular Ales on Rails event.

Fall Arizona Restaurant Week

September 21-30

Throughout the week, stop by any of the 200 restaurants that are participating in Arizona Restaurant Week. The restaurants will offer a three-course, prix-fixe menu for just $33 or $44 a person, not including beverages, tax and gratuity. This gives people the chance to go outside of their comfort zone and try and experience new restaurants.

Summer’s End Margarita Mojito Festival

This festival is going to be offering tastings of craft margaritas, mojitos, microbrew and Mexican beers, craft tequilas and rums, all in combination with Lucky Dogs Cocktails and Sangria. The entertainment lineup is growing by the day, from steel drums and reggae to rock and roll with the cool vibe of a summer beach party on two separate stages. Their artisan vendors are going to provide a fun and creative shopping and dining experience, not to mention a great food truck expo.

Brazilian Day Festival

The annual event known widely as “Brazilian Day” is a one-day event celebrating Brazil’s Independence Day. Each year, the event creates an open window to discover Brazilian Culture past and present through music, dance, performance, martial arts, food, drinks and more!  Brazilian Day Arizona is the largest, most authentic Brazilian Independence day event in Arizona, drawing more than 4,000 people since its inception.

Founders’ Day Festival

The community is invited to come out and celebrate Queen Creek’s 29th anniversary at a family-friendly community event in Founders’ Park. The event will feature fun activities, great music and entertainment, pig races, vendors, lawn games, cornhole tournament, a 4-H zone with equine experiences, a FFA Zone with agricultural experiences and the “Battle of the Badge” relay-style competitions.
