Phoenix Arizona Postcard

Howdy!

My name is Troy Hallewell, I am the general manager of Phoenix.org, a local community site for the entire Phoenix metro area and the Valley of the Sun.

Phoenix.org is a brand new, local, informational portal for all Phoenix residents. Although the site is still very new we are already receiving close to 3000 unique viewers per month! In time we hope to increase that number 100 fold.

What does Phoenix.org mean for you and your organization…

For starters I wanted to let you know that the events calendar on Phoenix.org is 100% free (and well trafficked) so if your business or organization is planning a public event anywhere in Arizona feel free to submit the event to be posted on our event calendar. You can submit your events at

I also wanted to let you know that we are currently looking for interesting local businesses or non-profits in Arizona to post articles about on Phoenix.org for our local viewers to read. If you are a local entrepreneur looking for a little more publicity, or a local charity or non-profit that would like more attention then let us know. We would be glad to publish a page of our website dedicated just to your company. This service is also 100% free at this time. We do ask that you provide the article about your company as well as a picture or two to post with it. Contact me for more information.

Phoenix.org also has a brand new local yellow pages area when business owners and managers can list their business. Listing your business in a category is 100% free, but we do request that somewhere on your site you link back to Phoenix.org. If you want you can purchase an premium listing in our yellow pages for only $22 per month and be guaranteed to be at the top of the category above your competitors (with other additional benefits, see Phoenix Yellow Pages for more details). Our yellow pages is still being created, so if you don’t see a category that your organization fits under then let us know and we will create one just for you.

We are also looking for companies to feature on the home page of our website, in the “Headlines” section. This service is also 100% free but we do require that the article giving information about your company be well written and in a journalistic fashion. We also require that you submit at least 1 picture to be featured in the article. This area of the site is very valuable and we are looking for services and organizations that deserve to stand out to the residents of Phoenix.
