Schnepf Farms’ Peach Festival

May 11-May 13

The annual event features hay rides to the orchards, live music, train rides, carousel rides, peachy pancake breakfast, peachy sampling pavilion with food ranging from sweets to salsa’s, water activities, peachy arts and crafts booths, peach pies, peach cinnamon rolls, peach cookies, peach cobbler and more.

Second Friday Night Out

Mesa downtown galleries and businesses have joined together to create an exciting, friendly and free way to spend a Friday evening.

May 11th is Sci-Fi Friday! Enjoy 50+ artist booths, live bands, food trucks, treats and prizes. There will be a costume contest at 8 p.m. and galleries, shops and restaurants will stay open late. Second Friday is also dog-friendly.

While his latest hit boasts that he’s a “Young, Dumb & Broke” high school kid, this El Paso-born singer and songwriter recently turned 20. With hits like “Location” and recent collaborations with Calvin Harris and Marshmello, the R&B star will have plenty of hits from which to choose. Named after his pitbull mix, The Roxy Tour will donate $1 from every ticket sold to local animal shelters.

As the storytelling movement spreads across the country, Explore Arizona StoryFest & Expo will showcase some of the state’s most animated storytellers. This family-friendly event includes children’s authors and storytellers along with booths from unique AZ destinations. Attendees are encouraged to donate to the book drive or exchange one book for another. Donors receive an entry to win an Arizona Stay-cation for each book donated.
