September 8 – September 10
Marvel fans, come together for this live, action-packed, legendary battle to defend the universe from evil. This all-new show unites some of Marvel’s greatest super heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Panther, Hulk and Black Widow against some of the most threatening villains that the universe has to offer.

Together, Lifehouse and Switchfoot have sold millions of records worldwide with chart-toping hits. They are playing an all-ages event at the new Van Buren concert venue with special guest Brynn Elliott.

Bar Flies is a monthly reading series told by everyday Phoenix people. Each month, a curator will bring in new readers who’ll tell stories surrounding a theme. This months theme is “Sleepover!”

4. Don’t forget your chocolate for this movie

September 8
Join friends for a night in the city while CityScape screens the classic, “Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.” Viewers are invited to bring their picnic blankets and chairs for a night of free fun under the city lights!

5. Hear beautiful music from different time periods

Music Director Jack Herriman and Guest Conductor Nicholas Ross lead volunteer musicians from all around the Valley in a Chandler Symphony Pops Concert that features dance music from all countries and time periods and special guest dancers from Southwest Youth Ballet.

6. Hang out with bats

September 9
Join Interpretive Ranger Ambur Gore as thousands of Mexican Free-tail bats emerge from the “Phoenix Bat Cave” at dusk to forage for insects. Ambur will give an informational talk about the migrating bat population, followed by a short walk to the “bat cave.”

September 9
Nickelback, a Canadian band, has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and is ranked the 11th best-selling music act. Chris Daughtry was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. That’s a winning pair!

8. “Cruise” on over to the Smooth Tour

September 10
The country music duo Florida Georgia Line from Nashville, Tennessee visits Phoenix at Ak-Chin Pavilion. They hit the scene with their breakout hit “Cruise” which was downloaded over seven million times.
